Raw video of home where illegal immigrants were reportedly being held against their will
August 1, 2008 View larger E-mail Clip More Video HOUSTON -- A southeast Houston couple was arrested Friday night, accused of holding a group of illegal immigrants captive in their rental home.
Houston police were first called to the house in the 8500 block of Baker on Friday afternoon. That is where they said they found seven illegal immigrants, including children, who claimed they were being held against their will. Agents with the Immigration and Customs Enforcement where then called to the home.
The couple had rented the home for about eight months. The property’s owner told 11 News that as time passed they noticed more and more people were in the home, but did not know for sure what was going on.
