2 men held in large
marijuana seizure
The Dallas County Sheriff's Department seized more than 15,000 pounds of marijuana valued at about $15 million from two locations in the Love Field area last week, officials said.
The bust is one of the largest marijuana seizures ever in Dallas County.
The sheriff's office and Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents also arrested Mexican citizens Jose Luis Echavarria, 38, and Nelson Adolfo Flores, 35, in connection with Friday's seizures in the 2300 block of Roanoke Avenue, northeast of Harry Hines Boulevard. Both men face immigration charges, the sheriff's office said.
