Former Police Officer Behind Bars

Former Cactus Police Officer Jose Cadena will spend one year in jail for threatening to arrest two illegal immigrants if they did not pay him money. Cadena pleaded guilty to two counts of official oppression. He will also have to serve eighteen months probation and pay a $500 fine. According to his original indictment, Cadena made the threats back in May of 2006. A month later he was no longer working with the Cactus Police Department.
