Soldiers on trial for smuggling illegals

Out of federal courts, Two Americans are indicted; one is a U.S. Army soldier accused of smuggling undocumented immigrants.

Court documents say Abel Corona is a soldier stationed at Fort Bliss.

He was caught picking up immigrants along I-35.

According to documents, he had received a text message from his partner that they had paid five hundred dollars to make sure they wouldn't be stopped by officials along the interstate..

Both Americans have sought help from an attorney.
