A one-vehicle accident along I-40 accidentally leads officers to suspected illegal immigrants.
A van pulling a moving trailer lost control along I-40 west of Bushland and flipped onto its side. The two adults and three minors in the vehicle suffered minor injuries.
Sources say while officers were doing traffic control, a Border Patrol agent rolled up behind a white van stuck in traffic. The doors opened and between nine and 11 illegal immigrants took off running.
Border Patrol, with the help of ICE were able to apprehend nine people. Agents are still patrolling the area.
