PRESIDIO - Homeland Security has postponed the construction of a border wall that would run 6 miles along the U.S./Mexico border in Presidio.

According to Bill Brooks with Border Patrol Marfa Sector, the project was delayed because their budget was higher than what they had planned for.

Officials in Washington said they would review the problem and look for possible alternatives.
